Jesus: Comes to those with a Broken Spirit & Broken Heart

If your Spirit or Heart is Broken; Call Out to Jesus
Jesus will come and Jesus will have mercy on the down in spirit, and down at heart. Jesus will revive you with the Holy Spirit, and will lift you up.

Read Psalm 51, as David - King of Israel pours out his heart to God

 ¹ Have mercy upon me, O God,
         According to Your lovingkindness;
         According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
         Blot out my transgressions.
 ² Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
         And cleanse me from my sin.
       
 ³ For I acknowledge my transgressions,
         And my sin is always before me.
 ⁴ Against You, You only, have I sinned,
         And done this evil in Your sight—
         That You may be found just when You speak,
         And blameless when You judge.
       
 ⁵ Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
         And in sin my mother conceived me.
 ⁶ Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
         And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
       
 ⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
         Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
 ⁸ Make me hear joy and gladness,
         That the bones You have broken may rejoice.

 ¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God,
         And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
 ¹¹ Do not cast me away from Your presence,
         And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
       
 ¹² Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
         And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
 ¹³ Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
         And sinners shall be converted to You.
       
 ¹⁴ Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
         The God of my salvation,
         And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
 ¹⁵ O Lord, open my lips,
         And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
 ¹⁶ For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
         You do not delight in burnt offering.
 ¹⁷ The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
         A broken and a contrite heart—
         These, O God, You will not despise.
       
 ¹⁸ Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
         Build the walls of Jerusalem.
 ¹⁹ Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
         With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
         Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. (Psalm 51:10-19, New King James Version)

Confess your sins and troubles then, to God. Don't be ashamed to pour out your heart like a child, or baby. God surely comes to the helpless and needy. From the moment we can truly call for help from the depth of our heart and spirit, we will be changed. The Lord Jesus will come, and will comfort us with his love. Then when we ask - in his name, the Christ Jesus, the Father will comfort us - as it is written - and as it is in truth by the mercy and grace of God.

The Comforter; the Holy Spirit of Comfort and Grace from God

 ¹Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
 ²In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
 ³And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
 ⁴And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
 ⁵Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
 ⁶Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

 ⁸Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

 ¹⁰Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

 ¹⁵If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 ²⁴He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
 ²⁵These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
 ²⁶But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 ²⁷Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
 ²⁸Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
 ²⁹And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
 ³⁰Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. (John 14, King James Version)

Our Father, and his Son the Christ Jesus come to you with comfort and love. To be in complete despair, and at the end of your rope is the perfect place to be. Once you surrender trying and call out to God and Jesus, you will be forgiven, saved, helped and given a new life with hope and love.
